Cheap Websites – One-Page Website Package
These Terms and Conditions apply to all website design, development, hosting and maintenance services provided by Cheap Websites (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing our services, you (“you”, “the client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Cheap Websites offers a custom one-page WordPress website package for a fixed price of $999 AUD.
The package includes:
- One (1) custom-designed, single-page website
- WordPress installation and setup
- Layout and placement of client-supplied content
- Use of Elementor page builder under our licence
- Hosting and maintenance for the first 12 months
- Launch of the website to a live domain
This package is designed for landing pages, microsites and small business one-page websites.
SCOPE OF WORK
The $999 package includes one single-page website built to an agreed structure.
The following are not included unless agreed in writing:
- Additional pages
- Additional sections beyond the agreed one-page layout
- Copywriting or content creation
- Image sourcing or photography
- E-commerce, booking systems or memberships
- Advanced integrations or custom functionality
Any request outside the original scope will be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.
REVISIONS AND CHANGES
1 Included Changes
Reasonable minor revisions are included during the build phase. These are limited to small layout adjustments and placement of client-supplied text and images.
2 Excluded Changes
The following are not included and may incur additional fees:
- Adding new sections or content
- Structural layout changes
- Reworking previously approved designs
- Changes requested after approval or launch
Requests that expand the size, complexity or intent of the original build will be considered scope creep and will be quoted separately.
CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for providing all written content, images, logos and branding assets required for the website.
You are also responsible for supplying any required legal text including privacy policies, disclaimers or other legal notices.
Cheap Websites is not responsible for:
- The accuracy of client-supplied content
- Copyright ownership of materials provided by the client
- Legal compliance of client-supplied content
ELEMENTOR PAGE BUILDER LICENCE
Elementor is provided under the Cheap Websites licence as part of the hosting and maintenance service.
The Elementor licence is not transferable.
Elementor access is only available while the website remains hosted and maintained by Cheap Websites.
If hosting and maintenance are cancelled or not renewed, Elementor licence access will be removed from the website.
Continued use of Elementor requires ongoing hosting and maintenance with Cheap Websites.
HOSTING AND MAINTENANCE
Hosting and maintenance are included for the first 12 months from the date the website is launched.
After the first year, hosting and maintenance are charged at $650 AUD per year unless otherwise agreed.
If hosting and maintenance are not renewed:
- Elementor licence access will be removed
- The website may be suspended or deactivated
- Cheap Websites is not responsible for downtime, data loss or security issues
PAYMENTS
Full payment is required before the website is launched.
Failure to complete payment may result in delays, suspension or termination of services.
TIMEFRAMES
Any build timeframes stated on the website or during communication are estimates only.
Delivery timeframes depend on:
- Timely supply of content
- Prompt client feedback
- Scope remaining unchanged
Delays caused by the client do not constitute breach of contract.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
1 Change of Mind
Cheap Websites does not provide refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Preference changes
- Business decisions
- Failure to supply required content
2 Work Commenced
Once work has commenced, payments are non-refundable for work already completed.
3 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a service has a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, remedies will be provided as required by law.
OWNERSHIP AND PORTFOLIO USE
Upon full payment, the client is granted rights to the final website as delivered.
Cheap Websites retains ownership of the underlying systems, frameworks and development processes used to create the website.
Cheap Websites reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio, marketing materials and promotional content.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cheap Websites is not liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue or loss of business opportunity resulting from the use of the website.
Cheap Websites is not responsible for issues arising from third-party services, plugins or providers.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.
TERMINATION
Cheap Websites may suspend or terminate services if:
- Payments are overdue
- Scope is repeatedly exceeded without agreement
- Communication breaks down or the project cannot reasonably continue
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria.

By purchasing services from Cheap Websites, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
